Block III variant of BrahMos Missile ranging 290 km, was test fired from Pokhran in Rajasthan. It achieves speed of 2.8 Mach and it can carry 300 kg of Conventional Warhead. The missile can be launched from air, land, sea & subsea. Till date Indian Army & Indian Navy have inducted BrahMos & IAF is scheduled to induct it shortly.
